Island Stomp 2 - Seattle, WA

The second installment in Mixed-up Event’s Island Stomp franchise, Island Stomp 2 built on the island party theme with an “underwater” stage with custom-built 10ft tall LED color changing jellyfish, huge fishing nets adorning the walls, and other nautical decorations. Outside the venue, an empty lot was transformed into a second beach party stage with palm trees, tiki huts with couches to relax on, a fresh fruit smoothy bar, and a 21+ bar area serving tropical drinks. Island Stomp 2 was headlined by DJ Hixxy, an internationally famous UK DJ flown in just for this show.

Surprisingly rare for single day events with an outdoor stage, this event was a licensed special event with the city of Seattle with a food permit, liquor license, noise variance, fire permit, and approval of local businesses, local police, and more. Logistics included temporary fencing, portable toilets, two full stages that didn’t exist in the venue before, vendors, catering, supplying and operating a temporary smoothy bar, and a lot more. All sales from the 21+ bar benefited Cornerstone 253, a local 501(C)3 charity helping youth exiting foster care, and Mixed-up Events was thrilled to have helped them raise over $2,000!
